Below I have included some items which I believe are on the agenda for discussion at the AGM

Proposal : - Tiling around pool.
The proposal is to cover the grass area around the top shallow pool with tiles to match those around the rest of the pool areas. This tiling should continue right around the pool providing a path from the top pool steps. Areas around the palm trees should be left as grass.
This will have the benefit of stopping a build up of muddy grass between the pool and the tiled areas, which is caused by water from the pool dripping from people leaving the water. It will also stop the problem of cats and some dogs using this area as a toilet, which is a problem at times. It will also provide a pathway for people to use to transit around the pool without having to step onto the, currently used, fragile plastic cover of the surrounding pool drain when the grass is wet. It will stop the problem of the grass area being damaged by sun beds which is a constant repair problem for the gardener.
Proposal : - Purchase garage areas for community
The proposal is to give the committee a budget to negotiate with ‘Fireball Investments’ for the purchase of currently unused areas inside block one garage. This will have several effects for example.
1. The community can decide on its future use.
2. Fireball will no longer have to pay community charges on the areas.
3. If any profits come from its future use they will go to the community.
Proposal : - Pedestrian access Block 1 – 2.
The proposal is to provide a pedestrian access route from block 1 – 2 down to the bin area. This should include a small gate and footpath with steps and handrail for ease of use. Current pedestrian access is via the traffic gate and down the steep road, which can be dangerous at times especially for the elderly.
Proposal : - TV satellite system
The proposal is to allow large satellite dishes 2.5 Mts. to be located in unobtrusive areas so as to provide TV reception for people currently unable to receive an adequate service from the current system in their own language.
This will have many more benefits than is at first seen as satellite reception could benefit all languages including Spanish and once installed fewer on terrace dishes will be needed. This will improve the look of the whole urbanization. It will also enable current extortionate fees that are currently paid to retransmission companies to cease. We will be in a good position to take advantage of the new EU laws that come into force next year providing all with access to unrestricted lawful TV transmission over EU borders.
Proposal : - Entry system repair
The proposal is to repair the current inadequate video access system so that all are able to use it properly. The system is currently a nightmare for elderly people with limited mobility to allow visitors to be identified and access granted, especially out of hours. This system is part of the initial building design and priority should be given to it as soon as possible.
